Meet the founders behind the wheels and the beans!

Our founders, Emily and Heiller, are the heart and hands behind Tinto Coffee Roasters. What started as a shared love for coffee quickly grew into something more; a way to bring people together through quality coffee, the craft of coffee processing, roasting and brewing, and through genuine human connection.

Heiller grew up in Huila, Colombia, surrounded by the beauty of coffee farms in the Eastern Range of the Colombian Andes mountains and the smell of coffee harvest seasons. This experience, which his family lives and breathes to this day, has shaped his deep respect for the industry and the people behind every harvested coffee bean. Today, he brings that passion into every decision at Tinto, from sourcing exceptional varieties to perfecting their processing and roasting profiles.

Emily’s journey began behind the espresso machine over ten years ago as a barista at a small German cafe in Baden-Baden, Germany. For her, coffee is about more than just taste, it’s about creating moments of joy. There’s nothing quite like handing a customer a beautifully poured latte and seeing their face light up with a smile. Delivering that simple feeling of joy is at the core of everything we do at Tinto.

Tinto was a natural evolution for us. We love coffee deeply, and we wanted to create a way to share that love with you. Whether it’s through a perfectly crafted drink or a memorable event experience, our goal is to make every interaction feel special.

With our combined experience, we’re able to offer a service that’s thoughtful, flexible, and tailored to you. At Tinto, every cup is special, and we genuinely enjoy creating moments that linger long after the last cup is poured!

At the end of the day, Tinto is about connection: to coffee, to people, and to the stories we create together.

We are Tinto. Nice to meet You!
